Little Busters! is one of 17 Key visual novels in the Steam Summer Sale 2026 promotion, and its character Kudryavka Noumi is one of five plushies in Bushiroad Prize's Puchisshu! Key line, due at game centers from March 2027.
Little Busters! appears in the recent Key coverage only as one entry in brand-wide catalog moves. In June 2026, Visual Arts put 17 Key titles on sale during the Steam Summer Sale 2026, Little Busters! among them, with discounts up to 65 percent through July 10.
By October, Little Busters! figured in merchandising rather than software. Bushiroad Prize's Puchisshu! Key prize line, starting at game centers in March 2027, includes a plush of Kudryavka Noumi alongside four characters from other Key titles: Nagisa Furukawa from CLANNAD, Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats!, Nao Tomori from Charlotte, and Shiroha Naruse from Summer Pockets. Each plush measures about 120mm tall.
That same month, Visual Arts and Key announced that Jun Maeda has pharyngeal cancer and has chosen palliative care. The announcement covers his work on Heaven Burns Red through Chapter 6 and says further scenario and song work may not be possible as the illness progresses. None of the three stories ties Maeda to Little Busters! directly.

Visual Arts and its brand Key announced on October 19, 2026 that Jun Maeda has been diagnosed with pharyngeal cancer. Maeda felt discomfort in his throat in early spring 2026 and swelling and pain in summer, then received a diagnosis after detailed examinations at a medical institution. The announcement states that, after weighing his condition and treatment prospects, Maeda chose not to undergo aggressive treatment and instead receive care centered on palliative care so he could conserve his strength and continue creative work. He is hospitalized. Key says Maeda has completed his share of the Heaven Burns Red main story through the conclusion of Chapter 6, including lyrics and music for the first half of Chapter 6, and that further scenario and song work may not be possible as the illness progresses. A planned long-term YouTube music project has been changed to finishing existing songs for release in sequence.
