Kwalee released the PC psychological horror game lily's world XD on Steam on September 17, 2026. Indie developer Sondering Emily built the game around a UI styled after early-2000s PCs, and the player searches a girl's laptop to piece together Lily's life. As of September 19, the game holds a Very Positive rating with 98 percent positive from 282 user reviews. It is on sale at 1,280 yen, 20 percent off, until September 25.
Publisher Kwalee and developer SonderingEmily released a demo for the horror simulation game 'lily's world XD' on June 5, 2026, via Steam. The game tasks players with investigating the laptop of a teenage girl named Lily, who was a teenager in 2004, to uncover what happened to her. Players read her blog, decipher hidden messages, and contact her childhood friend. The demo covers the first chapter and has received a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam as of June 9. The game uses actual photos of the developer and friends from their teenage years. The store page is displayed in Japanese, but the main game does not yet support Japanese. The game explores early internet culture and themes of friendship, body image, and loneliness. The player is not the only one accessing the computer, and they become targeted by the entity that took Lily.
