Kuse's Asako Fuyuyama Gets 1/6 Scale Figure From Hobby Sakura

Hobby Sakura is releasing a 1/6 scale figure of Kuse's original character Asako Fuyuyama, posed in a white bikini and sunglasses on a shell-shaped beach bed. The standard edition is priced at 21,450 yen on Amazon.co.jp, while a Deluxe Edition at 24,200 yen adds a cloth bonus. Both are scheduled for release on June 30, 2027.

Keroro Gunso☆ Minigame Collection Sets December 9 Release, Trial Live on Steam

RENGAME announced on October 8 that Keroro Gunso☆ Hachamecha TV Show will release on December 9, Keroro's birthday. The minigame collection launches on Steam and Nintendo Switch at 1,980 yen with tax included. Yu Hibari's Watashi De Dotei Suteta Kuse Ni Novels Get Manga

Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace announced Tuesday that Yu Hibari's Watashi de Dotei Suteta Kuse ni light novel series is getting a manga adaptation, drawn by Shusei Kirisaki, launching September 29 on the Shonen Ace Plus website. The post-breakup love comedy follows childhood friends Kota and Sakura, and turns on Sakura's teasing about Kota losing his virginity to her.

Sekina Aoi's Asobi No Kankei Novels Get Manga Adaptation

Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine announced that Sekina Aoi's Asobi no Kankei novels will be adapted into a manga by Koruri, starting in the next issue on September 25. Kurehito Misaki is credited as character designer. The story follows Kotarou Tokiwa, a substitute manager at a board game cafe who invents an imaginary girlfriend to hide his crush on a coworker.

The TTFC supplementary series Kakusei Hunter Omega Horn: Hunters' Silence Record with Gavvan starts NO.08 at 10:00 on September 13, 2026, the day the main episode 8 airs. Bandai opened product pages for two new PROJECT R.E.D. items tied to Ultra Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity. The Gavan Infinity Laser ver. soft vinyl figure, priced at 1,100 yen, ships September 19, 2026. The DX Horned Beast Hekikaku, a roughly 200mm figure with a scissor open-close gimmick and an Egorgia set, costs 4,400 yen and releases October 3, 2026. It combines with the DX Horned Beast Enkaku and Omega Horn.

Comikey Adds Several Hakusensha Shojo Manga Digitally

Comikey announced on August 17 it will release several shojo manga from Hakusensha's catalogue in English digitally. The first title is sora's Crashout Schoolgirl and Degen Teacher, with seven chapters available now. Comikey said the lineup will include manga without prior official English releases. Other titles pictured include Gakuen Babysitters, Kare Kano, and Moon Child.

ABSOLUTE ACT Strike Freedom Gundam Debuts at TOKYO Toy Show 2026

Bandai Spirits is launching a new Gundam figure brand called ABSOLUTE ACT, built around the ABSOLUTE ACTION SYSTEM for articulation. The first entry is the Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY, which received its world first display at TOKYO Toy Show 2026, running from August 27 to August 30, 2026. The approximately 185mm tall ABS/PVC figure features movable mechanisms in the neck, shoulders, and waist, plus a waist rail mechanism and shoulder pull-out mechanism for dynamic posing. It includes a high-energy beam rifle, two beam sabers, a connected saber handle, two beam shields, interchangeable wrist parts, and a base with a bendable support rod. Reservations begin August 27, 2026, at general retail stores, with release scheduled for March 2027 at 16,500 yen including tax. TOKYO Toy Show 2026's first two days are trade-only, with public access on August 29 and 30. The show also featured other Gundam items at the Bandai Spirits booth, including Gundam Miximize Gundam Zero and HG 1/144 Gundam Zero.

Fan-Made 'Spikki Raising' MMO Goes Mobile With EPID Games Server Support

The fan-made browser MMORPG 'Spikki Raising,' based on the 'Spikki' meme from the smartphone RPG 'Trikkar: Mochimochi Cheeks Great Strategy,' has announced mobile support and received server hardware from the original developer, EPID Games. The game launched on August 6 and quickly grew popular, with servers initially capped at 120 players before being expanded to four channels of 300 each, accommodating up to 1,200 players. Reports indicated concurrent player counts reached around 900. On August 21, a video revealed that the game would support iOS and Android, with the update scheduled for 4:00 PM JST. The same video showed EPID Games CEO Han Jong-hyun handing a server computer to the developer, Dan-teuk, who commented, 'They gave me a really good server.' Despite this support, Dan-teuk maintains the game is still unofficial, though fans have celebrated it as 'officially recognized.' The game allows players to become Spikki, hunt enemies, level up, collect equipment, and interact with other players through chat, emotes, and dances. EPID Games has a history of encouraging fan creations, including awarding prizes to creators.

LaLa 50th Anniversary PV Pairs Ouran's Tamaki With Maid-Sama's Takumi

Hakusensha released a collaboration PV for the 50th anniversary of its shoujo manga magazine LaLa. Super Gavan Cast to Appear in Kakusei Hunter Omega Horn

At the finale event for Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity, held July 19 at Tokyo Dome City Theater G Rosso, main cast members Kohei Nagata, Ryuga Akabane, Kanna Sumi, and Kentaro Yasui announced that the Super Gavan team will appear in the new series Kakusei Hunter Omega Horn. A post-finale mini-drama, Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity Gaiden, will stream on YouTube and TTFC.

Knights of Sidonia Both Seasons Stream on TVer for First Time

The TV anime "Knights of Sidonia" and its sequel "Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine" began streaming on the Japanese commercial broadcast platform TVer on July 1. Both seasons, totaling 24 episodes, are available from July 1 through July 14. This marks the first time the series has been distributed on TVer. Based on the manga by Tsutomu Nihei, the first season aired in 2014 and the second in 2015 on MBS and other channels.
