Snow Man member Koji Mukai surprised the audience at a Tokyo stage greeting for the live-action film "Osomatsu-san: The Human Trashification Plan!!!!!?" on June 23. Mukai appeared mid-event after a message hinted at his arrival. He praised the film's take on the franchise and joked about a prior radio slip that spoiled the surprise.
Snow Man member Koji Mukai appears in the live-action film "Osomatsu-san: Human Scum-ification Plan!!!!!?" as the character Old Osomatsu, reprising his role from the 2022 first film. Mukai played the eldest brother Osomatsu in the earlier movie, and in the sequel he portrays a version described as "a man who once lived as Osomatsu." The film opened nationwide in Japan on June 12, 2026. Mukai shot his scenes in a single day and noted that his body remembered the performance from three years prior, though he joked that the new wig felt different from the one he had grown attached to. The sequel features a new set of sextuplets played by members of Ae! group, Keita Kusama Richard, and Takuya Nishimura. The cast also includes Miho Watanabe, Yusuke Onuki, Naeno, Iori Noguchi, Hiroki Miyake, Tae Kimura, Hitomi Miyauchi, Yudai Chiba, and Eiichiro Funakoshi. Taisuke Kawamura directs from a screenplay by Takayuki Takuma, with distribution by Toho.
