Kanon Amane voices Yukari, a courtesan at the Isekichi brothel, in the Firefly Wedding television anime, which began airing October 9 on Fuji TV's Noitamina block. Amane is also a cast member of the Diabolic Ghost group in the original anime Mebius Dust, which premieres July 9 on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji.
Kanon Amane's two announced roles are both supporting parts in ensemble casts. In Mebius Dust, Amane joins Kensho Uesugi, Shota Hayama, Ko Bonkobara and Genta Nakamura as members of the group Diabolic Ghost. The original TV anime from Doga Kobo is based on Hajime Shinagawa's story and premieres July 9 on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji, with Crunchyroll streaming.
The Firefly Wedding role came later, after that series was already on air. Amane voices Yukari, a courtesan at the Isekichi brothel, a character added to the cast while the show was running in Fuji TV's Noitamina block on Fridays at 11:30 p.m. The series debuted October 9, with Lynn and Koki Uchiyama leading as Satoko Kirigaya and Shinpei Goto, Takahiro Kamei directing at david production, and Crunchyroll streaming as it airs.
The two announcements place Amane in a villainous group in one series and in a brothel setting in the other. Neither story describes the size of either role beyond the character or group named. No other credits, agency affiliation or personal details appear in the coverage.
