Jin Suzuki

Jin Suzuki's current role is Ueno in the live-action series of Yamayade's boys' love manga Can You Kiss Me First?. Fuji TV announced the adaptation in early August, with Suzuki and Gaku Oshida as the two leads. The initial announcement did not give a broadcast date.

By mid-September, the official website posted a teaser trailer and set the television debut for October 19. The series will air on Fuji TV and stream on Fuji TV On Demand. Yoshiki Kanemaru, Tsubasa Kizu and Riko Kawase are among the supporting cast. Meigetsu Takahashi directs, Emi Amamoto writes the scripts, and Nobuhiro Tateno and Ami Yamashita compose the music.

The two stories agree on Suzuki's casting and on the Fuji TV and Fuji TV On Demand placement. They differ in detail: the August announcement names only the director and writer, while the September update adds the premiere date, the supporting cast and the composers. The later story also ties the broadcast window to Seven Seas Entertainment's English release of the manga, which arrives four days after the October 19 debut.
