Co-Op Horror Game Invokyr Launches Early Access October 8
Developer Ludogram announced on September 7 that the early access version of its co-op horror game Invokyr will launch on October 8 for PC via Steam. The game supports solo play and online multiplayer for up to six players. Players are trapped in a haunted mansion and forced to play a cursed board game from the 1970s, guided by a malevolent Game Master. Rolling dice advances pieces on the board but also triggers unpredictable anomalies, such as monsters, traps, and curses, that appear throughout the mansion. To progress, players alternate between moving on the board and exploring biomes like jungles, icebergs, and giant toy boxes to retrieve golden statues and special dice. Each die can be used only once and offers effects like healing, hiding, or hindering pursuers. The demo, available since June 2, has received a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam with 94% positive from 1,135 reviews. A major update on August 10 added a 'Yeti Board' environment. Ludogram, a French developer, previously worked on Worlds of Aria.
