ILL

The ultra-gory survival horror FPS ILL is confirmed for a 2027 release with full Japanese localization, including Japanese voice acting, and the developer has stated it will not compromise its violent vision.

Synthesized from 30 Yomimono stories · updated Jun 22

Team Clout confirmed in a June 2026 interview with Game Spark that ILL will receive full Japanese localization, including Japanese voice acting. The game is on track for a 2027 release, with the core foundation already in place. The developer emphasized that gore is essential to horror and that they have no plans to compromise their vision.

The confirmation of uncensored Japanese localization is notable given the regulatory scrutiny extreme gore often faces in Japan. The developer's stance suggests the game will launch in Japan as intended, without cuts to its violent content.
