UNSEEN Releases New KEMURI Trailer Ahead Of Tokyo Game Show 2026
UNSEEN released a new trailer for its yokai possession action game KEMURI on September 16, titled "KEMURI - Okaeri. BACK TO CHAOS | TGS 2026 OFFICIAL GAME TRAILER." The concept trailer runs about 90 seconds and was timed to Tokyo Game Show, which opens September 17 in Makuhari. The game is set in Kemuri City, a tourist city on the boundary between life and death, where players become yokai hunters who run through a vertically stacked city and fight anomalies. It supports single-player and online co-op for up to three players. Players form contracts with defeated yokai and wear their powers as Possession Apparel, which grants actions such as high jumps and triple stomps; taking consecutive hits removes the apparel and forces a weakened fight. A hands-on event was held September 16 at UNSEEN's office, where the playable demo let players enter a Yokai Domain Expansion and fight an Oni. KEMURI is scheduled for release in 2027 on PlayStation 5 and PC, with the price undecided.
