Since June 2026, Ikumi Hasegawa has been announced in four new anime roles and one game role. The earliest is Mai Otohime in Kill Blue, a marine sports prodigy with dual personalities, revealed while the series was airing its first season. In July, two more roles followed: Soara, the lead of Soara and the House of Monsters, a girl raised to fight monsters who is out of work once peace is declared, and the goddess Noah in Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers.
The anime roles are spread across studios and directors. Takaharu Ozaki directs Soara at FelixFilm for a 2027 premiere, while Riki Fukushima directs Full Clearing Another World at studio HORNETS for an October debut. In October, Kadokawa named Hasegawa as Iris Knowblade, a Sword Saint who faces Yuya Tenjo in an official match, in the second season of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too, which debuts in January 2027.
The game work runs on a different track. Hasegawa voices Rin Akane in NTE: Neverness to Everness, and on October 15 a special movie of her cover of "God knows..." from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya went up on the game's official YouTube and X accounts. The cover was added in the second half of Ver.1.4, which started October 21, the same update that made Akaneru Rin a playable character on a limited banner running until November 11 at 6:59. Rin fights with an electric guitar and can play it anywhere in the world outside combat.

Hotta Studio's free-to-play open-world RPG NTE: Neverness to Everness added Akaneru Rin as a playable character on October 21, 2026, in the second half of the Ver.1.4 update. Rin is voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa and is available on a limited banner running until November 11 at 6:59. She works at the live house Star Sign and fights as a Hetero-ability main attacker whose weapon is an electric guitar. Her normal attack Strum Break builds a resource called String Sound to a cap of 30, and her By-Rail skill Rhythm Wave sets either a single-target marker (Harmonize) or a multi-target zone (Live Area) lasting 25 seconds each. At full String Sound she fires the enhanced skill Overdrive, which makes her invincible during the strike. Her EX Rail finisher Sound Blast opens a 20-second Solo Part state and switches the background music to a dedicated track, which can be turned off in settings. Outside combat she can play the guitar anywhere in the world.
