Salamander III Bug Fix for 128-Loop Clear Draws Surprise and Praise

Konami Digital Entertainment released update Version 1.004 for Gradius Origin Collection on August 3, 2026, fixing a bug in the newly developed Salamander III that occurred after players cleared 128 or more loops. The bug reset the maximum selectable loop count in stage select when returning to the title menu. Yoshida Says FF6 or FF8 Remake Could Span Four or Five Parts

Mushoku Tensei III Eris Figure Pre-Orders Open for April 2027 Release

A 1/7 scale completed figure of Eris Boreas Greyrat from the anime "Mushoku Tensei III: I'm Serious About the Other World" is now available for pre-order. Mushoku Tensei III Episode 5 Advance Cuts Released With Drinking Commentary

PS Plus July Free Games Include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the July 2026 free game lineup for PlayStation Plus subscribers on July 2. J:COM STREAM, the video streaming service from J:COM, announced its summer 2026 anime distribution lineup on June 30. BREAK ARTS III Gets Major Ver.2.0 Update With Battle System Overhaul

PLAYISM and developer MercuryStudio released a major update, Ver.2.0, for the mecha customization action game BREAK ARTS III on June 26, 2026. The update overhauls the battle system, changing shields to a constantly recovering gauge and improving kick attack operability and hit performance. Weight restrictions on mecha customization have been eased, and shields have been removed from module parameters to allow design-focused builds. The in-match user interface has been completely renewed, adding opponent rankings, ability activation, health, and EN displays, while surrounding information is now integrated into a minimap. Three new Extra Grand Prix events have been added, including a developer challenge and special matches exploring the game's lore. New plugins grant special abilities, such as "OVERCAST" which drops lightning on the first-place player and "OVERCOAT" which provides high defense. Game balance adjustments, tutorial updates, and multiplayer bug fixes are also included. A bonus track has been added to the BREAK ARTS III Soundtrack on Steam. The game is currently 20% off during the Steam Summer Sale until July 10.

Mushoku Tensei III Event Reveals New Cast, Eris Arc Details

A preview event for Mushoku Tensei III: Eris Training Arc was held in Tokyo on June 20. Voice actors Aimi Kuma and Haruka Tomatsu appeared on stage. The event announced Yoko Hikasa as Isolte Cruel, Katsuyuki Konishi as Aubert Corbett, and Mari Yokoo as Reida Reia. Hikasa surprised Kuma with a bouquet of red roses. Kuma described the three main characters as rock, paper, and scissors.
