Hypixel Studios published a development blog detailing Hytale's Chapter 1 content, including the first handcrafted dungeon, a multi-phase boss battle, goblin updates with a new world event, and new items. The update is expected within two to three months. A set of 14 minigames for friends is also coming in the same window. This is the first major content reveal since early access began in January, after months of foundation work.
Hypixel Studios has published a development blog detailing the upcoming Chapter 1 content for sandbox RPG Hytale, featuring over 20 videos and 30 images. The blog, which founder Simon Collins-Laflamme says is meant to be transparent after the game's revival from cancellation, covers dungeons, boss fights, a goblin faction update, a rune ability system, UI overhaul, mod browser, and more. The content arrives after months of foundational work following early access launch in January 2026.
