Bandai will begin pre-orders for the second volume of its Mejirushi Accessory gashapon line based on the Chimera Ant arc of Hunter x Hunter on July 8, 2026. The set includes five figures: Gon, Killua, Crazy Slot, Potclean, and Menthuthuyoupi. Each figure is approximately 3.5 cm tall and comes with a crab ring and ring parts, allowing them to be attached to bags or other items. Pre-orders are available on the Gashapon Online store from 1:00 PM JST on July 8 until July 23, 2026, or while supplies last. Each play costs 300 yen (tax included). Delivery is scheduled for late November 2026. The figures may also be available in capsule vending machines nationwide before the online delivery date. This is the second wave of Chimera Ant arc accessories in the Mejirushi series, following an earlier volume that featured other characters from the arc.
Dengeki Hobby Web reports the July 3, 2026 Amazon Kindle manga bestseller list. Hunter x Hunter Monochrome Vol. 39 takes first place, with the color edition Vol. 38 at 17th. Other top sellers include Ossan Kensē Vol. 9 and Blue Giant Momentum Vol. 8. Pre-order titles like Yomi no Tsugai Vol. 13 and Tearmoon Empire @COMIC Vol. 12 also appear.
Dengeki Hobby Web has listed the Shueisha Kindle comic and novel releases arriving on Amazon.co.jp on July 3, 2026. The slate includes Hunter x Hunter (Monochrome Edition) Vol. 39, Kinnikuman Vol. 93, Futsuu no Keion-bu Vol. 11, Ao no Hako Vol. 26, Marriage Toxin Vol. 18, and several other titles across multiple genres.
Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter has surpassed 100 million copies in cumulative circulation worldwide, including digital editions, ahead of the July 3 release of Volume 39. The milestone was announced in the June 29 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, which also published Chapter 411, the series' first new chapter in about one and a half years. To commemorate the achievement, Shueisha is running a week-long campaign called Shibuya Hunter Town in Tokyo's Shibuya district, where over 100 characters appear as street advertisements. Participants can scan QR codes on the ads to unlock characters on a dedicated website, and those unable to visit can download digital content as characters are discovered. A commemorative promotional video will be released on the Jump Channel YouTube channel on July 3, and a thank-you newspaper ad will run in the morning edition of the Asahi Shimbun the same day. On Shonen Jump+ and Zebrack, 340 chapters from the Hunter Exam Arc through the Election and Alluka Arc are being made available for free sequentially through July 19. The live stream of Chairman Netero performing 10,000 straight punches preceded the campaign's launch.
D-techno launched the 7th Hunter x Hunter WEB Lottery on June 23, themed around the Greed Island arc. The online lottery, available on the WEB Lottery site, features newly drawn visuals of Gon, Killua, Hisoka, and Bisky-the latter appearing for the first time in the series. The A prize is a blanket with a case designed like a binder. The B prize is a lighting acrylic stand with a glowing base, inspired by Biscuit's Nen ability. The C prize is a plush badge styled after Bomber's "Life's Sound" attack; the count display changes depending on how the badge is attached, allowing wearers to simulate being hit. Other prizes include clear posters, acrylic stands, acrylic cards with stands, keychains, stand boards, and can badge sets. The Last Win prize, guaranteed when all lots in a box are drawn, is an extra-large wall hanging. A purchase bonus coaster is given for every five tickets, and a perpetual calendar is awarded to five winners via a separate lottery. Tickets cost 790 yen each, with sales running until August 7 at 17:59. Shipping is scheduled for mid-to-late November 2026.
Shueisha confirmed that Hunter x Hunter chapter 411 will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31 on June 29, the manga's first new chapter since December 2024. The chapter will include a commemorative center color page. Volume 39 is set for release on July 3.
Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga will resume serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump on June 29, with chapter 411 appearing in issue 31. The new chapter is the first in about 567 days, since chapter 410 ran in December 2024. Shueisha will release the manga's 39th compiled volume on July 3, its first new volume in 22 months. The series went on hiatus in January 2023 due to Togashi's health issues, and Shueisha announced in December 2022 that it would no longer follow a weekly serialization format. Togashi has posted on X that manuscripts up to chapter 421 are complete. A teaser video on Jump's official YouTube channel previews the upcoming chapter, featuring characters from the ongoing Succession Contest Arc, including Kurapika, the Phantom Troupe, and the Kakin Empire princes. The manga began in 1998 and has inspired multiple anime series, films, stage plays, and video games.
Furyu is releasing a prize figure of Hisoka from *Hunter x Hunter* under its Exc∞d Creative Figure line. The figure, titled "Exc∞d Creative Figure -Hisoka-", is scheduled to ship in the fourth week of June 2026. It depicts the character in a seductive pose with one hand on his head and a pink Bungee Gum effect swirling upward from his feet. The announcement comes from Furyu's prize figure division, which produces claw-machine and lottery prizes rather than standard retail releases. In a separate but related *Hunter x Hunter* merchandise wave, Bandai is releasing the second volume of its Phantom Troupe emblem gashapon accessories. That lineup includes five characters: Chrollo, Machi, Nobunaga, Franklin, and Feitan. Each is a deformed figure roughly 3.5 centimeters tall and comes with a crab ring and ring parts for attachment. The gashapon costs 300 yen per play and will appear from the third week of June 2026, with multiple shipments planned after the initial run.
Bandai Spirits will release the second wave of its Hunter x Hunter Greed Island-themed Ichiban Kuji lottery from August 29. The lineup includes MASTERLISE figures of Gon, Killua, Hisoka, Razor, and Goreinu, plus a Last One Prize of Biscuit Krueger in giant form. Gon and Hisoka each have two versions.
Bushiroad and Eighting's Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact 2D 3v3 fighting game will add Zeno Zoldyck as the fourth and final DLC character of Season Pass 1 on June 18. The character was teased via silhouette alongside the previously confirmed Phinks and Shizuku. The game launched worldwide in July 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Good Smile Company will release a POP UP PARADE figure of Kite from Hunter x Hunter in November 2026. The 200mm non-scale figure captures Kite in a relaxed pose with his blue beret, long silver hair, and a large scythe from his Nen ability Crazy Slots, featuring a clown head with the number 2 at the handle's top.
Gashapon Online will begin second wave pre-orders for HUNTER×HUNTER Suwarasetai Real 3 on June 4 at 15:00. The set includes two figures: Meruem and Neferpitou, each about 7 cm tall in sitting poses. Each figure costs 800 yen, with shipping scheduled for late October 2026.
Shueisha will publish the 39th volume of Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga on July 3, 2026, marking the first new volume in 22 months since Volume 38 shipped in September 2024. Volume 39 collects chapters 401 to 410, which were serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from issue 45 of 2024 through issue 2 of 2025. The manga has been on an irregular release schedule since December 2022, when Shueisha announced it would move away from weekly serialization. Togashi has provided updates on his X account, revealing in late May 2026 that he completed the manuscript for Chapter 421. The author underwent surgery in 2024 and has been drafting storyboards for additional chapters. Viz Media released the English edition of Volume 38 in January 2026. The Hunter x Hunter franchise also saw two game releases in 2025 and 2026: the fighting game Nen x Impact and the survival roguelike Nen x Survivor. A third stage play adaptation covering the Greed Island Arc ran in Tokyo and Osaka in mid-2025.
The Jump Channel on YouTube announced it will sequentially stream all episodes of the 2011-2014 Hunter x Hunter TV anime for free, starting May 29. The release covers the Hunter Exam arc through the Election arc, including the first anime adaptation of the Chimera Ant and Election arcs. Each batch will be available for about two weeks.
