4Gamer.net went hands-on with HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush at Summer Game Fest Play Days 2026. The Milestone-developed game is an open-world racer set across four toy-scale islands. Players explore, complete events, and collect over 150 cars. A livery editor and track builder are also included. The preview build featured two of the four islands.
Milestone announced the new racing game Hot Wheels Infinite Rush during the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream on June 6. The game is the latest entry in the series based on Mattel's Hot Wheels mini car brand. It features four freely explorable islands, each with activities and a boss called a Rush Master that players must defeat. Over 150 vehicles are divided into four types: All-Rounder, Titan, Drift, and Speeder. A new Track Builder mode lets players create their own courses. The game includes a single-player campaign, split-screen multiplayer, and online cross-play. It will launch on September 24, 2026, for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 version does not support cross-play.
