Hot Toys is running a Stitch-themed Cosbi pop-up at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA from October 20 to November 16, 2026, and has scheduled a 1/6 scale Tomorrow figure from DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH for December 2027 as a Toy Sapiens exclusive. Its Fortnite merchandise line launched at a free Akihabara event in August 2026.
Hot Toys has spent the second half of 2026 putting licensed product in front of walk-in traffic. The FORTNITE HOT TOYS GLOBAL LAUNCH EVENT ran at Bellesalle Akihabara from August 15 to September 13, with free admission, displaying the John Jones the First 1/6 scale figure capped at 3,000 units worldwide and priced at 55,000 yen. The event also carried eight Cosbi deformed figures at 2,800 yen each, a 1/1 scale Victory Crown at 28,000 yen, three Mega Mi Style 1/9 scale statues at 9,800 yen each, and eight Petit Replica accessory packs at 3,800 yen each. All items except the John Jones figure went on sale at the venue ahead of general release.
Two months later the company moved from a game license to a Disney one. "Stitch Party! by Hot Toys at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA" opens on the first floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA from October 20 to November 16, free to enter, with Stitch redesigned as characters from Toy Story, Mickey & Friends, and Marvel. Cosbi trading figures and plush keychains go on advance sale there, and buyers spending 5,000 yen or more get an original shopper bag while supplies last. The Cosbi blind-box line is the constant across both events; the venue changes, the format does not.
Between the two retail events, Hot Toys committed its Artisan line to a video game character. A 1/6 scale posable figure of Tomorrow from DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH is scheduled for December 2027 as a Toy Sapiens exclusive at 52,000 yen. It stands about 29 cm with over 28 points of articulation, a newly sculpted head based on actress Elle Fanning with an eye-moving gimmick, rooted blonde hair, a seamless silicone body, a white dress, sneakers, Rainy's charm, a tar spear, and a tar-themed diorama base. The figure is the only item in these stories with a 2027 date; everything else on the calendar lands in 2026.
