Nippon Ichi Sets September 29 Free Update For Hono Gurashi No Niwa

Nippon Ichi Software announced on September 11 that its life simulation game Hono Gurashi no Niwa will receive two free updates and a paid expansion. Free Update 1 arrives September 29 and adds 11 Camp Series furniture pieces, four livestock animals, and two systems: Farmland Expansion and a Furniture Catalog. The catalog, which the announcement describes as highly requested by users, lets players reorder furnishings previously bought at the general store or from the peddler, with delivery to the in-game mailbox the following day. Free Update 2 is set for October 27 and adds the protagonist's birthday event. Paid DLC is planned for spring 2027 and is under consideration with additional systems, scenarios, maps, and standalone events. The game is available on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Windows. It has surpassed 200,000 cumulative domestic sales and holds a Very Positive rating on Steam.
