The television anime adaptation of Muchimaro's four-panel manga Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! will premiere on October 3, 2026, as revealed in the main promotional video released on Saturday. The anime will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. Sangatsu no Phantasia performs the opening theme song "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Inai," with lyrics by Noko and vocalist Mia, and composition by Noko. The series is directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa at Passione, with Ryo Imamura as character designer and chief animation director, and Masahiro Yokotani overseeing series scripts. The main cast includes Shogo Sakata as Ume Mizunoe, Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki, Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku, Hiyori Kono as Tan Otori, Shizuka Ishigami as Arisu Terui, and Yumi Uchiyama as Satomi Hiratsuka. The manga, serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2022, won the print category of the ninth Next Manga Awards in 2023. Seven Seas will ship the first English volume on September 8.
