PLAION REPLAI showed the NEOGEO AES+ in playable form at Tokyo Game Show 2026, with ten launch titles on the floor. The console was pushed from November 12, 2026 to September 16, 2027, at 32,800 yen, with an Anniversary Edition at 49,800 yen. It supports HDMI and AV output and accepts original ROM cartridges and arcade sticks.
Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the action game GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 5, 2027. Producer Yuya Tomiyama and director Yoshiyuki Serizawa, the latter at Bandai Namco Studios, gave a joint media interview timed to a preview play session. The project began under a mission to deliver a Gundam work to game users worldwide, and the team landed on the concept of Gundam versus extraterrestrial lifeforms. Players pilot the Gundam Helix against a giant enemy called Apocalypse, and the game leans on close-range combat over the long-range weapons typical of the series. Serizawa said the aim is to give players worldwide an ace pilot experience, following the sequence of boarding, cockpit entry, briefing, and catapult launch. A full story run is estimated at around 20 hours. A three-player co-op mission unlocks after the story is cleared.
