Eminem Drops Madara Uchiha Track With Voice Actor Neil Kaplan

Eminem released "MADARA (feat. Neil Kaplan & Hideyoshi)" on Friday, a collaboration with Filipino rapper EZ Mil, Madara's English voice actor Neil Kaplan, and Japanese rapper Hideyoshi. A music video is streaming. Kaplan noted on social media that another voice appears on the track. Hideyoshi posted a clip referencing shadow clones and Shady. Madara Uchiha is the penultimate villain of the Naruto manga and Naruto Shippuden anime.

Bari Bari Densetsu's Shu Hideyoshi Gets a Die-Cast GSX750S KATANA Model

Hobby Japan is producing a 1/24 scale die-cast finished model of Shu Hideyoshi's SUZUKI GSX750S KATANA from the manga Bari Bari Densetsu. The model reproduces the bike's signature muffler, handlebars, and mirrors. It retails for 4,290 yen including tax, with orders open now at Post Hobby and hobby shops nationwide.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi Joins Sid Meier's Civilization VII as a New Leader

Toyotomi Hideyoshi appears as a playable leader in the new paid DLC 'Crossroads of the World' collection for Sid Meier's Civilization VII. The DLC includes two civilizations, Heian Japan and Sengoku Japan, and four wonders. Hideyoshi's leader ability doubles damage dealt and received when land units attack enemy civilization units, and he has cultural abilities tied to tea ceremony and performing arts.

Civilization VII 'Bunbu Ryodo' DLC Adds Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Two Japanese Civilizations

2K released the paid Bunbu Ryodo Collection DLC for Sid Meier's Civilization VII on June 24, 2026. Part 1 adds Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a leader, Heian Japan and Sengoku Japan as civilizations, and four wonders. Part 2, coming later, will add Yi Sun-sin and the Goryeo and Joseon civilizations. A free Update 1.4.1 also launched, adding Hot Seat multiplayer and system adjustments.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi Joins Civilization VII in Paid Bunbu Ryodo Collection

Firaxis Games announced the paid downloadable content 'Bunbu Ryodo Collection' for Civilization VII on June 16. The first wave, releasing the week of June 22, adds Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a leader, Heian Japan and Sengoku Japan as civilizations, and two wonders. A second wave in July will add Korean content.

Gachiakuta Wins Shonen Prize at 50th Kodansha Manga Awards

Kodansha named the winners of its 50th Manga Awards on May 11, 2026. Gachiakuta, written and drawn by Kei Urana with graffiti art by Hideyoshi Andou, took the Shonen category. The series beat fellow finalists Ichi the Witch, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, and Utsuranain desu. Urana posted on X that she never expected the honor and would keep working at full speed. The prize includes two million yen, a certificate, and a bronze statue. In the Shojo category, Gin Shirakawa's Re-Living My Life with a Boyfriend Who Doesn't Remember Me won. The manga adapts Eiko Mutsuhana's light novel Return from Death, with original illustrations by Yugiri Aika. Shun Umezawa's The Darwin Incident won the General category after being a finalist in two previous years. The series follows Charlie, a half-human half-chimpanzee raised by human parents, who is pulled into an eco-terrorist plot. Judges for the 50th awards included Hiro Mashima, Hikaru Nakamura, and Natsumi Ando.
