Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on July 8 that the DMM GAMES version of SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will release on July 22. The smartphone version of the strategy simulation launched in April 2025. The DMM GAMES version runs natively on Windows 11 PCs and supports data linkage with the smartphone version, allowing players to continue progress across platforms. Pre-registration is open, and a campaign will award a total of 3,000 in-game diamonds if 100,000 players register. The game includes an auto mode for easier play. Players form squads by combining units and characters from across the Gundam franchise, with a supporter slot and leader skills that boost performance. History stages for Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED X Astray have been added. An in-game event commemorating RX-78 Day runs until July 16. The DMM GAMES version is free-to-play. PC specifications require Windows 11, an Intel Core i5-1135G7 or equivalent CPU, 16GB of RAM, 30GB of disk space, and a Radeon RX 470 or GeForce GTX 960 graphics card.

Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official will premiere the Heisei Rider crossover film 'Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER' for free on July 5 at 19:00 JST, with an archive available until July 19. The 2018 film, a crossover between Kamen Rider Zi-O and Kamen Rider Build, confronts the metafictional premise that Kamen Riders are fictional TV characters.

BANDAI SPIRITS has announced the ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E. MSZ-006 Z Gundam, a completed action figure based on the mobile suit from 'Mobile Suit Z Gundam'. Pre-orders begin at general retail stores on July 1, 2026, with a scheduled shipment in December 2026. The figure is priced at 11,000 yen (tax included) and stands approximately 135mm tall. It aims to achieve proportions faithful to the series' setting art while incorporating movable joints for action poses. The figure can transform into Wave Rider (WR) mode using a replacement gimmick that swaps parts rather than a full transformation. Included accessories include beam saber effects (straight and curved), a beam rifle, a shield, grenade launcher cartridges, and landing gear. A separate part allows recreating the flying armor detachment scene from the film. This marks the first time the Z Gundam has been produced in the ROBOT魂 series, a fact noted by the official product description and echoed by social media reactions expressing surprise it had not been released earlier.

Toei's official YouTube channel, Toei Tokusatsu YouTube Official, has surpassed 2 million subscribers. To mark the milestone, the channel will stream five classic tokusatsu films for free as premium premieres starting July 4. The lineup includes "Kamen Rider vs. Shocker," "Himitsu Sentai Gorenger: Bomb Hurricane," "Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Goseiger: Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle," "Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger: The Fire Mountain Roars," and "Heisei Kamen Rider 20th Anniversary: Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER." Each film will be available for about two weeks from its premiere date. The channel will also premiere two special "Kamen Rider x Super Sentai" videos on June 27 at 19:00, directed and composed by Koichi Sakamoto. The "Drama Ver." features suit actor Seiji Takaiwa, his son Taisei Takaiwa, and Ruka Shibata, while the "Music Ver." is an archive-footage montage. The channel launched in 2011.

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on June 24 during the 'SD Gundam G Generation Eternal Roadmap Announcement Live' broadcast that two new UR units (EX) are joining the smartphone game. The gacha adds 'Gundam F91 (Twin Vesbar Equipment Type) (EX)' and 'Gundam F90 (A.D.S. Mixed Equipped) (EX)' as the highest-rarity units. Alongside them, SSR units include Gundam F90 2nd Unit, RF Gelgoog (Charles Rochester Unit), Dagi Iris (Earth Federation Forces Specification), and Berge Giros (Black Vanguard Specification), plus the SR unit Denan Ge (Black Vanguard Specification). New UR and SSR supporters 'Carozzo Ronah & Zams Gal' and 'Reary Edbury & Space Ark' also appear. Separately, the roadmap revealed four titles that will appear in main stages and story events: 'Mobile Suit Gundam F91' joins the main stage on June 30, while 'SD Gundam Gaiden II: Legend of the Giant' and 'SD Gundam Gaiden III: Algas Knights' are scheduled for mid-to-late August, and 'Mobile Suit Gundam 00F' for mid-to-late September. A rerun of 'SD Gundam Gaiden I: Warrior of Lacroa' is planned for early-to-mid August. The game is free-to-play with in-app purchases on iOS, Android, and PC.

To celebrate the theatrical run of Mobile Police Patlabor EZY, the Filmarks Culture Wear collaboration T-shirt from the 2025 revival screenings of Patlabor: The Movie and Patlabor 2: The Movie is being re-released. The shirt features the map footage from a key scene in the first film, with English text based on the movie poster copy. It now comes in XXL and is available for made-to-order purchase through the Filmarks Store from June 19 to July 9.

Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions announced a collaboration music video between Bleach and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's song After Dark. The MV is the 50th entry in the Jump MV series, which pairs Weekly Shonen Jump properties with Sony Music artists. It premieres on the YouTube Jump Channel on June 13 at 19:00 JST. After Dark was the opening theme for the Bleach Arrancar arc and was released as the band's 10th single in 2007.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced seven titles joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers in June 2026. The lineup includes Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic x Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert: Standard Edition. Premium subscribers also get the PS2 classic Gitaroo Man.

A story guide for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was released on June 4. The single volume condenses the first part of the manga into about 600 pages, using selected episodes from 20 volumes, story digests, and columns. The cover is newly drawn by Mikio Ikemoto, and a double-sided pinup poster is included. Volume 8 of the second part, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, also launched today.

FUJII Production released a 20-second video on May 29 showing a new game in development, featuring a giant robot, a road-sign weapon, and a tank. The developer's first game, 'Byoki na GENERATION -Kurein Kyatcha no Bory-', launched in December 2025. No store page or details are available yet, and development is described as 'super delayed.'
