Staffer Retro: Psychic Mystery Quest Launches on Steam and Switch
Team Tetrapod and GamePia released the PC version of Staffer Retro: Psychic Mystery Quest on Steam today, July 23, 2026, for 3,500 yen with a 10% launch discount until August 5. The Nintendo Switch version also launched today. The game is the second main series title in the Staffer series, following Staffer Case: Psychic Mystery Adventure, and features a new protagonist, Verita Retro, who investigates supernatural phenomena on Sicily. Key systems include Re:Story, which reconstructs past events from clues, and Retro, which re-examines conclusions. The main story has six episodes, 11 endings, an estimated 30-hour playtime, over 20 characters, and fully voiced Japanese dialogue by 17 voice actors.
