Kanae-sensei Real Event Offers Uncensored Talk as Tickets Go on Sale

The VTuber Kanae-sensei, a former juvenile detention facility instructor and Japan's first former national civil servant male VTuber, will hold a real event on October 11, 2026, at a Tokyo venue with two performances. General ticket sales began August 29. The event features talk not available on YouTube streams, with no censor beeps. Ticket tiers range from a 10,000 yen general seat to a 30,000 yen oil tycoon plan. A streaming ticket is also planned.

Tanuki to Kitsune TV Anime Debuts October 4

Frontier Works announced the television anime based on Atamoto's Tanuki to Kitsune manga will debut on October 4. The show airs Sundays at 7:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo and affiliates within the Animori program. Tommy Hino directs at Akatsuki Media Studio, with Rika Kihara writing scripts. A key visual was revealed, and the anime marks the franchise's 10th anniversary.
