Fate/EXTRA Record Shifts Publisher, Developer, and Director

Type-Moon's Fate/EXTRA Record remake is changing hands. Aniplex is now the publisher, replacing Bandai Namco, which dropped the project in March. Studio Meteorise takes over development from Type-Moon Studio BB, and Kazuya Nino is stepping down as director for personal reasons. The game is slated for January 28, 2027 on Switch, PS4, PS5, and Steam.
