Extreme and Zlongame have announced Langrisser: Sword of the Sea, a completely new title in the Langrisser series. Developed by BlackJack Studio, the team behind Langrisser Mobile, it will release on PC (Steam), iOS, and Android. The game features hand-drawn art and music by Yasunori Nishiki. The series began in 1991 on the Mega Drive, and Langrisser Mobile has surpassed 100 million downloads worldwide.
Bandai Namco announced a summer 2026 update for Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Versus 2 Infinite Boost, including the new unit ∫ (Integral) Extreme Gundam, a 15th anniversary campaign for Gundam EXA, balance changes for 12 units, and the series' first shuffle online tournament.
Digital Extremes announced the 'Iceblade of Narin' major update for Warframe at TennoCon 2026, arriving in autumn 2026. Digital Extremes announced at TennoCon 2026 that the fantasy RPG Soulframe will add a mount system in fall 2026. The mounts, which include giant wolves and horses, can be used in four-player squads and feature a bonding system where players can pet, feed, and play fetch with their animals. A new boss, Mendicant Rainbreaker, is available to fight as of the event. She rides a horse and wields a giant sword, driven by hatred for humanity's mistreatment of horses. The studio also revealed a new story quest, War Song, arriving in fall 2026, which explores darker themes through a new vow called Vatagar. This vow allows players to draw on corrupting powers like Wrath, Death, and Doom. The quest introduces the Empress of Eldbell, voiced by Jennifer English, and the enemy Tempest Vayol, voiced by Ben Starr. A fishing mini-game was also shown. The closed alpha test Preludes was opened to all registrants during the TennoCon weekend, granting permanent access.
Bandai will release a new Gashapon line, the Mobile Suit Gundam EXVS. (Extreme Versus) Assort Collection, starting in the second week of July. The top prize, the A prize, is a miniature game cabinet that reproduces the arcade cabinet of the EXVS. series and plays actual game sounds. Two variations of the cabinet will be available. The B prize consists of four swing cases featuring newly illustrated designs. The C prize offers eight acrylic stands printed with key visuals from the series' history. Each play costs 400 yen including tax. The collection will be sold through Gashapon machines and is part of Bandai's capsule toy lineup. The miniature cabinet is the headline item, designed to appeal to collectors who want a desktop-sized replica of the arcade hardware that the EXVS. fighting game series runs on.
