Marvelous RPG 'ETERNAL ANIMA' Set for March 4, 2027 Release
Marvelous announced a new RPG, ETERNAL ANIMA, during the Nintendo Direct streamed on September 9, 2026. The game is set for release on March 4, 2027, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, with the Steam version following on March 5. Set in a world where civilization and wisdom have been lost, the protagonist uses a Mind-Reading Art to evoke the memories of heroes and inherit their powers, and must sense enemy hostility to anticipate actions in battle. Other sources describe the setting as one where hoping for a better future is a felony, with the protagonist pursued as a heretic traveling between the past and present of four lost continents. The game is described as a completely new JRPG centered on the theme of inheritance across eras. Marvelous has opened the official website for the title.
