Capcom announced on September 20, 2026 that the fighting game Street Fighter 6 and the anime Detective Pretty Cure are crossing over. The reveal came at the Capcom Stage Live <DAY-2> event at Tokyo Game Show 2026. A four-episode original collaboration story is scheduled to be distributed starting December 17. In the story, an incident occurs in which arcade cabinets in the Battle Hub are broken and their screens go completely black, and Cure Answer and the others investigate the truth behind it. Respawn and Capcom's Apex Legends will run a large-scale collaboration event with Street Fighter 6 starting September 23, 2026. The event adds a limited-time mode called Apex K.O. in which players build a six-segment Fight Gauge by collecting Fighter Tokens dropped on the field or by punching red Punch Trucks scattered across a street-style remix of the Olympus map. At one segment or more, the camera shifts to third person and the player becomes a Fighter Form version of Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma, or Dhalsim. Gunfire and abilities are locked out, but melee damage rises, incoming damage drops, movement speed and mobility increase, and a guard option opens up. The update also ships eight Iconic skins pairing Apex characters with Street Fighter fighters, and the Mythic universal melee item Hadoken.
