The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 Trailer Previews THE BEAT GARDEN Opening Theme
The official website for The Ramparts of Ice anime began streaming a second promotional video on Monday. The video previews the opening theme song "Escort" by the four-piece band THE BEAT GARDEN. Superfly performs the ending theme, "Hanakage." The second season premieres October 1 on TBS and 27 affiliated channels, airing Thursdays at 11:56 p.m. in Japan, and streams on Netflix. Mankyu returns as director at Studio KAI, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi on series scripts, Miki Ogino designing characters, and Kanade Sakuma and Natsumi Tabuchi composing the music. The cast includes Anna Nagase as Koyuki Hikawa, Fuka Izumi as Miki Azumi, Shoya Chiba as Minato Amamiya, Satoshi Inomata as Yota Hino, Chiaki Kobayashi as Tsubasa Igarashi, and Sakura Shinfuku as Tsukiko Shimojima. The anime adapts Kocha Agasawa's manga about Koyuki, a high school student who builds a wall between herself and other people, and Minato, who keeps getting closer to her.
