Dumb Ways to Die announced Dumb Ways to Build on August 19, a physics-based co-op construction game for up to four players. It launches on September 10 for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with cross-platform multiplayer and Japanese language support. Players join the worst-rated construction company in Dumbville, tackling dangerous Crisis Jobs that involve improvised building. Anything unbolted can be grabbed, rotated, or thrown as material, and a nail gun secures unstable structures like bridges and ramps. Tools such as sledgehammers can also send teammates flying, creating chaotic workplace accidents. Proximity chat supports coordination, and solo play is available with an assist that freezes objects mid-air. After clearing all jobs, a Master Builder Certification mode adds extra challenges. The game costs $7.99, though Japanese pricing is unannounced. The Dumb Ways to Die brand began in 2012 as a railway safety campaign and has since expanded into mobile games, with over 500 million downloads across the series.
