Arc System Works released the alien inspection adventure game Donutal on Steam on September 4. The player is an immigration inspector who wakes from 150 years of cryosleep at an international space port in 2206 and must inspect visiting aliens to pay off a debt they do not remember incurring. Inspections run in groups of up to eight, with two called in at a time. The game costs 1,000 yen.
Arc System Works announced Donutal, an alien immigration simulation game, will launch on PC via Steam on September 3 (September 4 in Japan). A new character overview trailer is streaming. Buyers between September 3 and November 30 get future access to a 13-track soundtrack. Players act as a Chief Extraterrestrial Counselor, screening aliens for Earth entry, with gameplay similar to Papers, Please.
