Atari and Digital Eclipse Revive Classic Toy Story Games for October Release
Atari and Digital Eclipse announced on June 3 that they will release two Toy Story game collections on October 15: "Toy Story: Retro Roundup!" and "Toy Story 3 Complete Edition." The Retro Roundup! collection bundles five classic titles-the 1995 "Toy Story," the 1999 "Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!," the 1999 "Toy Story 2," the 2000 "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command," the 2001 "Toy Story Racer," and the 1998 "A Bug's Life"-across 11 console and handheld versions. It adds modern features like rewind, practice mode, and cheat codes, plus a gallery with interviews and development materials. The "Toy Story 3 Complete Edition" is a remastered version of the 2011 game, with enhanced graphics and frame rate, and includes previously version- content such as playing as Emperor Zurg in Toy Box mode and four extra theme packs. Both titles will be available on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. A physical double pack combining both collections is also planned for select platforms.
