Blizzard Entertainment and CD PROJEKT RED announced a partnership on August 26. The first step is a Geralt-themed skin for Diablo IV, obtainable by pre-purchasing or purchasing the new The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion pack 'Memories of Reminiscence' on Battle.net. The skin's appearance is unrevealed, with details planned for BlizzCon 2026 on September 12-13 in Anaheim.
ORBcafe will host a limited-time collaboration cafe themed on the Diablo series from Quiz RPG Wizard and Black Cat, running August 7 to August 31 at its Shibuya and Osaka locations. The cafe features themed menu items, original goods, and character voice recordings.
Blizzard Entertainment has started selling the BlizzCon Digital Bundle and BlizzCon Ultimate Collection on the Battle.net shop, priced from 3,350 yen. The bundles commemorate BlizzCon 2026, which runs September 12-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and include in-game items for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal, and Hearthstone.
Solo developer Christopher Yabsley discusses his first-person dark fantasy dungeon crawler Heathen in a new interview. He says playing the original 1997 Diablo co-op with his mother as a child is the personal origin for the game. Heathen uses a one-town, one-dungeon structure and emphasizes horror tension alongside ARPG loot and build crafting.
