The Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA bathhouse group is running a Detective Precure! collaboration from October 1 to 20, 2026, across 16 stores. The campaign ties into the film "Eiga Detective Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to 2-ri no Himitsu," which opens September 18. Newly drawn illustrations show the four Precure in their movie-limited Future Form, including Cure Eclair and Cure Arcana, who were absent from the previous collab. Visitors can pay an extra 1,100 yen on admission for a random towel from eight designs. Goods include acrylic stands, clear files, and hair clips, with a random mini illustration card for every 2,000 yen spent in stores. Eleven menu items are offered, each order including a coaster, and ordering four items earns an extra coaster. Five themed baths rotate by store and date. A quiz test with a clear card prize, an X campaign, and a high-five greeting event at RAKU SPA Tsurumi on October 17 round out the program.

The staff for the Star Detective Precure! film presented a trailer for the Pochitan Miracle Light and revealed future forms for Cure Mystique, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana. The film opens in Japan on September 18. It features original characters voiced by Akari Kito, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Koki Uchiyama, with guest appearances by the comedy duo cotton.

The staff for Star Detective Precure! The Movie: The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of 2 People announced that Jinji Nishimura and Kyon from the comedy duo cotton will voice the Dame Dame creatures. The film opens in Japan on September 18, with Hanako Ueda directing and Yoshimi Narita writing the script.

The staff for Star Detective Precure!, the 23rd main Precure anime, revealed Sunday a new ending theme song and character visuals. The theme, "Itsuka Wakaru ☆ Kitto Aeru," is performed by Akane Kumada and Yūka Masui. The staff also unveiled visuals for new Star Kiraring forms of Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana, plus a Future Form visual for Cure Answer in the upcoming film.

The staff for the Star Detective Precure! film announced the cast for three film-original characters in a new video on Sunday. Akari Kito voices Karin, a 14-year-old girl who holds the key to the story. Nobunaga Shimazaki voices Alan, a fairy who watches over Karin, and Koki Uchiyama voices Rain, a fairy who requests the Detective Precures' help. The film opens in Japan on September 18.

Each week offers a free double feature: the Suite PreCure film with the first episode of You and Idol PreCure♪, then the Maho Girls PreCure! film with the first episode of Wonderful PreCure!. Video Research released Japanese animation TV rankings for July 13-19, 2026. Sazae-san topped the list with a 5.9% household rating in the Kanto region. Detective Conan and Chibi Maruko-chan followed at 4.6% and 4.2% respectively. A Kingdom special earned 7.0% but was not part of the regular animation chart.

The staff for the Star Detective Precure! film revealed the main trailer, staff members, and the ending theme song "FIRST PRISM" by Yūka Masui and Chihaya Yoshitake. The film also features an insert song "First Step" by Ami Ishii. The film opens in Japan on September 18.

Following crossover episodes that aired on May 31 and June 6, the Precure franchise has announced a line of Star Detective Precure! x Detective Conan merchandise. Items include acrylic stands, pins, coasters, a t-shirt, and a towel, available from June 23 at Precure Pretty Stores and via Premium Bandai preorder until June 30.

Detective Conan and Star Detective Precure! will air crossover episodes in late May and early June. The Star Detective Precure! episode featuring characters from Detective Conan airs on May 31. In that episode, an art piece is stolen, and protagonists Anna and Mikuru encounter Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, and Kogoro Mouri while they visit Makoto Mirai Town. The group tracks down the Phantom Thieves together. The Detective Conan episode featuring Cure Answer airs on June 6. In that episode, a string of jewel robberies occurs in Beika Town. Ayumi becomes excited because the situation reminds her of a Precure plot, and she hopes to meet a Precure if the thieves appear. The Junior Detective League is assigned to guard a jewelry store that is rumored to be the thieves' next target. They capture the thieves, but Ayumi then feels uneasy. The crossover was announced on Sunday. This is the first time these two series have crossed over on screen.
