Danganronpa 2x2 Switch 2 Release Changes to Game-Key Card

Spike Chunsoft announced that the Switch 2 version of Danganronpa 2x2 will ship as a game-key card instead of a full game card. Pre-orders for the Psycho Tropical Vacation Package from the Spike Chunsoft Official Store US will be cancelled and must be re-placed. The game launches in early 2027 for Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Danganronpa 2x2 Delayed to Early 2027, New Scenario Titled 'Slayhem'

Spike Chunsoft announced at Anime Expo that Danganronpa 2x2, the enhanced version of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, has been pushed from its 2026 window to early 2027. The new alternate scenario, titled 'Slayhem' mode, will run about 35 hours and include 20% more content than the original game. The release also features upgraded visuals and will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
