Daiki Yamashita is the lead voice actor in two announced television anime: Tensei Elf, which he voices as Liese and which begins streaming its first two minutes ahead of a January 2027 premiere, and The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage, where he plays Rein Garland. Both roles are confirmed cast announcements; no Yamashita content is tied to the Nemuru made tsukiatte items.
Daiki Yamashita's recent coverage is concentrated in two light novel adaptations. In The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a New Life, he plays Rein Garland, the lead role. The cast announcement also names Lynn, Yoshino Aoyama, and Miyu Tomita, with Shu Honma directing at P.A. Works and an October premiere set. That announcement gives the series its production team and a fall window.
The second project, Tensei Elf, has moved from a casting reveal to a partial preview. The light novel by Monsho Sakakibara first ran on Kakuyomu in 2021, and the kanco manga adaptation appears on Novema and Manga Zegra, with a sixth collected volume shipped on June 26. An earlier announcement named Yamashita and Hana Hishikawa as the two lead voices and Yuki Inaba as director and series script writer at Studio Palette, with a 2027 debut target. A later update confirmed a January 2027 premiere and began streaming the first two minutes of the first episode. Yamashita voices Liese; Hishikawa voices Minori.
The coverage leaves some points unsettled. The two Tensei Elf stories use different English titles for the same source, and they do not name a firm broadcast date beyond January 2027. The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage announcement names a lead role for Yamashita but no characters for the other cast members. A separate announcement concerns a music project by Taiki Yamazaki and does not involve Yamashita.
