4Gamer tested the MSI Claw 8 Ex AI+, a handheld gaming PC with Intel's Arc G3 Extreme SoC, against the AYANEO KONKR FIT with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470. In multiple benchmarks, the Intel-powered device showed higher frame rates, particularly with XeSS enabled. The unit is a pre-production sample, and driver issues prevented testing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The final product's release date is not yet announced.

MSI announced the Claw 8 EX AI+ portable gaming PC at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei on June 1. The device is the first to feature the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, a new SoC designed for handheld gaming that integrates an Intel Arc B390 GPU based on the Xe 3 architecture. The Claw 8 EX AI+ has an 8-inch 1920x1080 LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and VRR support. The chassis has been redesigned with a rounded shape and larger rear grip. The gamepad components, including analog sticks, D-pad, and shoulder buttons, have been improved, and the vibration motor has been changed for more realistic feedback with lower power consumption. The unit supports Windows 11's Xbox Mode for gamepad-optimized navigation and a revamped quick settings menu for performance tuning. MSI has not announced a release date or price. Alongside the handheld, MSI also showed the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, a 40th-anniversary notebook with an 18-inch 4K Mini LED display, Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus CPU, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
