Anthropic Releases Claude Haiku 5.5 With Reasoning Level Control
Anthropic released Claude Haiku 5.5 on October 7, 2026, the Haiku tier's first update in a year. It scores higher than Claude Haiku 4.5 on benchmarks and surpasses GPT-6 Luna. Artificial Analysis measured its Intelligence Index v4.3.2 score at 43, up from 17 for Haiku 4.5. It is available on all plans, including free, and via API.
