2K and Gearbox Software are running a Steam Free Weekend for Borderlands 4, with free play ending at 2:00 AM on September 15. The second DLC-added Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker, joined the roster on September 10. The second story DLC, FL4K and the Resort of Oblivion, is also available. Console free play is offered for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and a 50 percent off sale is planned.
2K and Gearbox Software announced the version 1.8 update for Borderlands 4, releasing June 25. It includes the free raid Take Down of the Hadron Abyss, paid DLC Wanted Pack 3: Daddy Issues! In Zane's Name, Vault Card 3, and cross-save functionality. A roadmap reveals future content and a new Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker.
Randy Pitchford, founder of Gearbox Software, posted photos of a watch found while scuba diving near Saint Martin. The watch is engraved "Google Pixel Watch 5" and includes specifications like IP68 rating, heart rate sensor, UWB chip, pulse sensor, and skin temperature tracking. Pitchford says he contacted the owner and arranged its return.
