Ascendance of a Bookworm

The second cour of Ascendance of a Bookworm Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke will premiere July 11 on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV network, with the new ending theme song "Wanna me" by adieu (the singing stage name of actress Moka Kamishiraishi) starting that same day. The opening theme for the second cour is "Power of Love" by Kana Nishino. The half-year run across two consecutive cours began on April 4. Crunchyroll streams the series with English subtitles and an English dub.

Yoshiaki Iwasaki directs at Wit Studio, replacing previous director Mitsuru Hongo. Mariko Kunisawa writes the series scripts, and Aiko Minowa handles character design. The returning voice cast includes Yuka Iguchi as Rozemyne and Show Hayami as Ferdinand. New cast members include Yukari Tamura as Georgine, Mami Koyama as Veronica, and Minami Takayama as Florencia.

Episodes 5 through 10 have aired, with the series receiving weekly Japanese animation TV household ratings in the Kanto region. The show ranked fourth with 2.8% for the week of May 25-31, and placed seventh at 2.5% for the week of May 18-24. Episode 8 marked a tonal shift, dedicating its first half to a conversation between Rozemyne and Ferdinand about the brutal political realities of their world. Episode 9 revealed that Wilfried cannot read, reframing his earlier behavior as a symptom of systemic neglect. Episode 10 moved quickly through the Harvest Festival and shifted focus to Rosemyne's material-gathering expedition, with Wit Studio action sequences featuring feybeast attacks, though a Crunchyroll audio glitch marred an early conversation.
