Transformers Age of the Primes Adds Jetfire, Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime
Takara Tomy announced seven new figures for its Transformers Age of the Primes (AOTP) line, scheduled for release in late February 2027, with pre-orders opening on September 9, 2026. The line centers on the Thirteen Primes, the originators of the Transformers. Among the new items are two large figures: AOTP-46 Jetfire (Armada Universe), a space shuttle that includes three Minicons (Astroscope, Sky Blast, and Payload) that combine into the Astro Blaster weapon, and AOTP-47 Optimus Prime (Armada Universe), a tractor-trailer whose container transforms into a battle station base and can link up for a Super Mode. Both figures can combine with each other and are priced at 17,600 yen each. The wave also includes smaller figures: AOTP-48 Fangry, a Decepticon Headmaster priced at 4,950 yen; AOTP-49 Blurr with Targetmaster Peacemaker at 4,950 yen; AOTP-50 Autobot Joyride with partner Hotwire at 4,950 yen; and AOTP-51 Tailgate at 4,950 yen. The wave caps with AOTP-52 Sentinel Prime, a Cybertronian tank figure with Conduit accessory, priced at 12,100 yen.
