505 Games and KUNOS Simulazioni released Ver.0.8 for Assetto Corsa EVO, adding the KTM X-Bow GT2, GT4, and Volkswagen Golf 8 R, plus the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. The update expands user-generated content with livery tools, mod cars in multiplayer, and league event organization. VR receives foveated rendering and performance tuning as the early access build continues toward 1.0.

RetroCrush announced the addition of the Hyakusho Kizoku anime (as Hyakusho Kizoku - The Farmer's Days) and the 500000000 Years Button anime to its streaming library, along with several other titles including Urusei Yatsura (1981), Tamala 2010, Angel Cop, Lone Wolf and Cub, and Bubblegum Crisis, rolling out through July and August.

One More Level CEO Szymon Bryła told Insider Gaming that ideas exist for Ghostrunner 3 or a spin-off, but development requires approval from 505 Games, which owns the IP. The studio is currently focused on Valor Mortis, a first-person action game set for release on September 24, 2026.

Takara Tomy has opened pre-orders for the Shinkalion 500 Kodama from the Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion anime as part of its Plarail SGX series. The toy transforms from a four-car train into a robot and can combine with other separately sold SGX products into a five-car formation. It is priced at 8,800 yen and ships August 8, 2026.

505 Games and Supernova Games Studios released the V0.5 update for Assetto Corsa Rally on Steam Early Access. The update adds two laser-scanned Greek WRC stages with 12 variations, 22 km of road, and 16-player online multiplayer with lobbies and events. Tire physics and force feedback have also been overhauled.

505 Games has signed a publishing agreement for ExeKiller, a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk western FPS developed by Paradark Studio. Players control bounty hunter Denzel Feni, an ExeKiller working for a mega-corporation. The game features a semi-open world with environmental threats, quests with multiple solutions, and player choices that affect NPC attitudes, dialogue, and story endings. It is scheduled for PC release on Steam, with console versions under consideration.

Aoshima Bunka Kyozai-sha's SKYNET brand announced a 1/12 scale pre-finished model of the Yamaha TZR250 '89. Two color variations, Silky White/Fine Red and V-Max Blue/Star Silver, are scheduled for release in November 2026 at 4,620 yen each. The model features a die-cast tank, movable steering and rear suspension, and a display stand.

Hakusensha's monthly shoujo manga magazine LaLa will hold a 50th anniversary original art exhibition in Tokyo and Osaka. The Tokyo venue runs from July 17 to August 3 at Shinjuku Takashimaya. The Osaka venue runs from September 5 to 27 at Namba Parks Museum. The exhibition, titled "50th Anniversary LaLa Original Art Exhibition ~Enchanting Creation~", displays over 200 original artworks by 76 artists, from legendary creators to current serializers. It also features past covers, the first issue from 1976, name drafts, and other materials that trace the magazine's history. Photo spots and an interactive corner where visitors can leave their own "heart-pounding" moments are planned. Admission gifts include illustration cards that change by day of the week; when all five types are collected they form a frame featuring characters from 10 series. A collaboration cafe will run at the Osaka venue from September 5 to 27. Official goods such as a visual book, tote bags, and key charms will be sold.

G-ant Co. announced a second collaboration figure series with the game live-streaming project KUN's 50-Person Craft, adding 8 new participants plus a new costume variant KUN (2P). The figures will be pre-sold in limited quantities at a pop-up shop at MITACLE BLOCK Higashi-Ikebukuro store from July 1 to July 5, with general made-to-order sales starting July 1 via the official EC site. First-wave figures will also be re-released.

Publisher 505 Games and developer INGAME STUDIOS released the largest update to date for 'CRIME BOSS: ROCKAY CITY' on June 19. Update #21 adds a new Story Mode with two missions, including an alien-themed level. A 90% off Steam sale brings the game to 230 yen until June 26.

Q-six is releasing a 1/6 scale figure of Arai Minami from Meme50's work Minami no Hajimete, in an ultra micro mini sailor outfit. The figure comes in a regular version and a Sunburn Ver. with different skin and a black sailor and gold bikini. Both versions include removable swimsuit and skirt parts and a tongue-out face part. Pre-orders are open for an October 2026 release at 26,180 yen each.

GPTRACK50, the Osaka studio founded by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, announced that its debut title Stupid Never Dies will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in fall 2026. A new key visual and second trailer accompanied the release window reveal. The game is a single-player 3D action RPG starring Davy, a cowardly zombie considered the weakest in the monster world. His goal is to revive a frozen woman named Julia, whom he fell in love with at first sight, and take her on a date. Davy explores dangerous dungeons, using a battle system called Style Eat to defeat and consume enemies, learning their abilities and transforming into 11 forms including werewolf, golem, vampire, and demon. A second growth system, Body Hack, lets players modify Davy's body with OT Gear. The trailer also introduced supporting characters such as Dr. Frank, biker zombie Bessie, stone statue monster Goil, and Chihuahua man Aserino. Boss characters revealed include Ifrit, Wyvern, Bob Dullahan, and Phoenix Zaza Hot Feathers. GPTRACK50 was established in October 2022 by Kobayashi, whose credits include the Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and Sengoku Basara series.

AVerMedia showcased the MultiStudio Core GC750 at COMPUTEX 2026, a capture unit with two HDMI inputs and two USB-C ports. It can capture two video sources simultaneously, passthrough to two displays, and connect to one or two PCs. It supports up to 4K60 passthrough and 1080p120 capture, plus uncompressed RGB capture for retro games.

The Korean indie daily-life mystery adventure Room 502: Boarding School Youth Mystery was playable at BitSummit PUNCH. Players follow cynical student Shin Heun as she investigates a roommate's disappearance at a boarding school. The game uses a concentric-circle deduction system and is planned for PC via Steam.

Anime Expo announced it will host the first official North American screening of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? on July 5. The convention also revealed guests including voice actors Masakazu Morita and Machico, and a Macross panel by BIGWEST on July 2.
