Riko Konoe Marks 3rd DVD WANTED With Sold-Out Akihabara Event
Konoe's stated plan to step back from DVD releases turned a routine third-disc event into a sold-out one, which tells you how much of her current pull runs through limited in-person appearances rather than the disc itself.

Riko Konoe held a release event for her 3rd DVD "WANTED" on September 21 at Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Hall. The disc runs 110 minutes and is released by Air Control at 4,598 yen. Tickets sold out immediately after she said on X in late July that she would take a break from DVD releases. Konoe describes festival and esthetician scenes in the footage, and says she applied for a Winter Comiket circle spot.
The event drew a capacity crowd to Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Hall on September 21, and the sellout followed her late-July post on X that she would pause DVD releases for a while. Konoe said the shoot took place in Tokyo this spring and casts her as an instructor, an esthetician, and a private tutor. Her favorite sequence is a festival scene in a blue happi coat and white fundoshi, a costume she found so unusual that the crew ignored her questions about it. She also applied for a Winter Comiket (C109) circle spot and is waiting on the November 6 acceptance announcement.
