Prisma Illya Finale Sets 2027 Broadcast on Tokyo MX, ABC TV, AT-X
Onuma said in July that the finale was originally planned as a film and he proposed a TV series to see it through, so the 2027 broadcast is the shape the ending takes rather than the one first planned.

KADOKAWA announced on October 18 that Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya FINALE, the fifth TV anime season and the series finale, will air in 2027 on TOKYO MX, ABC TV, AT-X and other channels. Staff and cast return, including director Shin Onuma and Mai Kadowaki as Illyasviel. The season follows the August 2021 film Licht: The Nameless Girl.
The announcement came at the Prisma Illya FINALE Special Stage in Machi Asobi on October 18, with Kadowaki and Kaori Nazuka, who plays Miyu, appearing on stage. A teaser visual for the magical girls was also released. The stage stream is archived on ABEMA until October 25, 2026.
The series ends in its twentieth year of manga serialization, and the plot picks up after the Ainsworth battle, with Darius taking over Julian and opening Pandora's Box. Chiwa Saito returns as Chloe, Sumire Morohoshi as Pandora, Natsuki Hanae as Julian Ainsworth and Katsuyuki Konishi as Darius Ainsworth.
