Nintendo Switch Online Free Trial Puts Obakeidoro 2 Up for a Week
Nintendo is using a free-play week to put a smaller asymmetrical multiplayer title in front of its subscriber base, and the overlapping 30% discount gives that audience a reason to buy before the sale ends November 15.
Reporting from 1 source: GAME Watch (Impress).
Nintendo will run a Nintendo Switch Online Free Trial for Obakeidoro 2 from October 26 at 12:00 to November 1 at 17:59. Subscribers can download the game from its Nintendo Store or eShop page and play it free once the period opens. The asymmetrical action game splits players into Human and Ghost teams for three-minute matches, supports up to eight players, and offers online and local multiplayer.
Obakeidoro 2 comes from Free Style, the studio behind the original asymmetrical chase game. Matches run three minutes: one team of humans tries to escape, the other uses skills to catch them. The title supports up to eight players and both online and local multiplayer.
Participation needs only a download. Subscribers grab the software from the Nintendo Switch Online Free Trial spot on the Nintendo Store product page or at the top of the Obakeidoro 2 page on the eShop, and it becomes playable when the period starts on October 26 at 12:00.
