Hallmark's Halo Xbox Ornament Plays Halo 2 Theme
Hallmark's ornament line now treats the Halo edition Xbox and the original PlayStation as parallel nostalgia objects, priced within a few hundred yen of each other, which says more about who buys game merchandise than about either console.

Hallmark has released a Christmas ornament modeled on the semi-transparent original Xbox console from the Halo special edition. Pressing the power button lights it green and plays the console startup sound plus "Halo Theme MJOLNIR Mix" from Halo 2. It is sold on Amazon for 5,457 yen. A separate Hallmark ornament of the original PlayStation console, with light and sound, is listed at 5,133 yen.
Hallmark already made an original Xbox ornament in 2024. The new one goes for the Halo special edition, the semi-transparent shell rather than the plain black box.
