Delivery Horror Game To 666 Deliver or Die Shown At Osaka Indie Games Summit 2026

Nagai built the game on atmosphere rather than text, the format he knows best, on the reasoning that a fully written-out story narrows what players can imagine and costs replayability once the script is exhausted.

Delivery Horror Game To 666 Deliver or Die Shown At Osaka Indie Games Summit 2026

Ge-saku, the studio behind the horror adventure game H9:ORIGIN, is developing To 666 Deliver or Die, a 2D food delivery horror game set in a Showa-era housing complex overrun by vines, rubble, talismans, and apparitions. Director Chika Nagai is developing it alone. A pre-alpha demo was exhibited for the first time at OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026, where the trial play ended after the player was assigned Room 666.

The player is a novice delivery worker who keeps taking job notifications from a smartphone that never changes its bright tone, no matter how wrong the housing complex becomes. Walkways are blocked by vines and rubble, talismans are pasted on doors, and apparitions are present. An axe and a fire extinguisher can be picked up: the axe cuts vines, the extinguisher clears flames. There are no elevators, so progress runs up stairs or down through collapsed sections.

Nagai adopted food delivery because the destination can be set randomly each time, which fits a design where the same map plays differently across sessions. The setting came from a kyogen-style idea of absolutely not wanting to deliver to a place like that.
