Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Leads the Week's Japan Release Calendar
The week's schedule puts the new Call of Duty and Final Fantasy Resonance on four and five platforms respectively, with the two big titles landing one day apart, so the calendar crowds the same end-of-week window.
Reporting from 1 source: Game Spark.
The week of October 19 brings Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 on October 23, alongside Final Fantasy Resonance, which arrives on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and Switch across October 22 and 23. Stupid Never Dies ships October 22 on PC and PS5, and ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet reaches Switch 2, Switch, and PC that same stretch.
The week's Japanese release calendar runs six days and leans hard on Thursday and Friday. October 22 carries the widest spread of the week, with Final Fantasy Resonance and Stupid Never Dies both arriving on PS5 and one of them on Switch 2 and Switch, while October 23 is the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 day across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
Smaller releases fill Monday through Wednesday, and most of them are PC-first. The North American side of the same listing runs a parallel schedule with its own PC and PS5 entries.
